The Origins Of The Cartoonies
I was on the Wikipedia article for Down In The Willow Garden looking at who wrote it originally. Art Garfunkel’s whiney but still great version of a song about a man going to the gallows for poisoning his lover’s wine.
The writer is considered to be GB Grayson amongst others.
Feeling like i was Denzel Washington in The Pelican’s Briefs, i immediately cross-referenced GB Grayson...
Michael Crick DEFECATING to Channel 4 News
Only last night i was saying to myself! COR, Channel 4 have SPANKED newsnight over the phone-hacking sagagate. Something’s not right with the new Editor: why isn’t Kirsty Wark getting more spots? The ever-present Finkelstein has given it a bit of a samey vibe. Paxman couldn’t contain his frustration at worst vox pop panel ever a week ago. He’s not appeared since he’s...
How Do Oyster Cards Charge?
I mistook an exit for an entrace at Tottenham Court Road underground station. I then had to re-enter the oyster saloon doors, in order to get out of the correct Exit.

How the waggish young lawyers’ clerks laughed as they smacked their lips, and sucked in the golopshious gravy of the pies, which, by the by, appeared to be all delicious veal this time, and Mrs Lovett worked the handle of the machine all the more vigorously, that she was a little angry with the officious stranger. What an unusual trouble it seemed to be to wind up those forthcoming hundred pies!...
What's going on at QPR
I asked a friend of mine to explain the situation at QPR
Club was run last year by Lakshmi Mittal’s son in law, Amit Bhatia, and his mate Ishan Saksena.
Briatore and Ecclestone took a back seat, effectively not involved with the running of the club. Silent partners.
Stability! Good PR! Backing the manager! Success! Great times!
Mittal family try to buy out Britatore and Ecclestone...

Weekly: That’s the worst part. Morrissey: Horrendous, horrendous. It’s worse than a human passing away. L.A. Weekly: Is it? Morrissey: Yes, it really is. L.A. Weekly: Why? Morrissey:...
